Welcome to the Homepage of the
WITHAM U3A - Lincolnshire Churches and Chapels Group
I
There are Universities of the Third Age (U3A) worldwide. They are self-help, self-managed lifelong learning co-operatives for older people no longer in full time work, providing opportunities for their members to share learning experiences in a wide range of interest groups and to pursue learning not for qualifications, but for fun.
The Lincolnshire Churches and Chapels Group is one of many interest groups under the umbrella of the Witham U3A.
If you would like to know more about these groups I suggest you attend one of the monthly meetings of Witham U3A at Cherry Willingham/ Reepham joint village hall at 10am on the third Thursday of each month when most of the groups will have some one to whom you can talk.
More information about U3A in general can be found at www.u3a.org.uk
