APRIL 2010:
St George, GOLTHO and St Oswald, RAND
For our April visits on a windy cold day we trekked across the muddy field to Goltho which was a
surprise and delight to the group. This redundant church achieved fame when it was used for Moll
Flanders wedding in the film of that name which actually took place in New England (America).
Then on to Rand which was another surprise with a number of late sixteenth century and early
seventeenth century wall monuments including one with 22 coats of arms!
